This book would be an excellent selection for anyone who is just getting started with Social Media or needs a little help in understand all the elements that it encompasses. Antony Mayfield and iCrossings work through several areas in a very clear and concise manner helping to explaing such things as how blogs, wikis, podcasts and micro blogging work.

Produced by HotelClub and located at asia-hotels.com this Free eGuide has a depth of information about all the Bejing Olympic events, including schedules and venue maps.
One thing that caught my eye was the formatting. This eBook is formatted more horizontal than vertical. This is something more eBook publishers need to make note of. Computer screens are not formatted like book pages and just this little modification can make a big difference in the readability of the eBook.

The Geeks over at Geekpreneur have done an excellent job of putting together a free 48 page ebook on Twitter. This eBook is geared more for the people being introduced to Twitter and specifically those who are trying to learn how to promote themselves or their business.
Is it possible to promote a business on Twitter, using 140 characters or less at a time?
I believe so, and this book is an excellent tool to use in inspiring those who are just learning how.
This is also a great ebook to show how and what an eBook should look like, not just white pages and black text. This is a professional looking eBook, especially for the price. It is easy to imagine this being an actual bound book on your shelf, and that is something that a lot of eBooks lack.

O’Reilly eBook Announcement
Yesterday O’Reilly Books announcedthey are adding some eBook options to their vast library. O’Reilly is one of those companies that seem to be able to keep up with the ever changing business landscape and continue to stay with the newest trends.
They have always had great offerings online and are now going to add an eBook bundle at or below the cover price of selected books, allowing us to get the format we need without a bunch of different useless options. We will be able to get EPUB, PDF and Kindle in the bundle.
An interesting thing about the O’Reilly digital offerings is there is no DRM. They are working on a watermarking system. What this tells me is they are more interested in moving forward than getting caught up in all the debates and dragging their feet while they sort it out.
They are also going to be selling selected ebooks on Amazon for the Amazon Kindle.
